Earlier in the week, Toshiba announced its new best-in-class 2.5-inch 640 GB HDD. The MK6465GSX weighs a mere 102 grams and is only 9.5 mm thick. The 640-gig HDD will be the flagship of the line, which also includes 160, 250, 320 and 500 models. While they plan to sell them to computer and TV manufacturers, they’ll also be offering them as portable external hard drives designed for backing up your system. The slim dimensions and ease of use of the device provides a simple, portable solution for your file safety.
